5 minute guided morning meditation
Before starting your day is a perfect time to center and meditate. Upon waking, find a comfortable seat, with your feet firmly planted into the ground. Press your feet down as you elongate your spine and bring your shoulders down and back, away from your ears. Rest your hands on top of your thighs, facing up in a gesture to receive or facing down in a gesture to ground.
This meditation asks you to imagine your day, both in tasks and in feelings. Through the meditation you’ll be asked

What am I open to receive?
And finally you’ll end with an intention to carry with you throughout the day. Though this is great for waking up, your day can be restarted at any time. So feel free to use these techniques or listen to this video to help you restart a day at any point.
